About the art, by the artist. “My painting, which was the art work chosen to represent the 2010 exhibition of the formerly named Art Council of Morris Area, currently named Morris Arts. The exhibition was titled Emerging Patterns, and my painting was titled, Exuberance. I did it at a time of a difficult transition in my life, and it captures for me the layering of experiences, some good and some not, the nascent possibilities that lie in the depths of our soul and the eternal hope and work to find meaning and flourish.” –I.
